Sterisol was founded with a clear idea: to make professional hygiene easier, safer and more sustainable. Already in 1977, we launched Sterisol System — a single-use soap system that laid the foundation for our continued work with airtight refill bags and gentle skin care.

Behind Sterisol System lie several years of development and a strong drive to improve everyday life for people who need to wash at work.
By creating an airtight system, we were early in offering liquid soap without the need for preservatives. At the same time, the collapsing refill bag made it possible to use more of the contents, reduce product waste and create a more resource-efficient hygiene solution.
Although our products are available in around 25 countries worldwide, the Sterisol factory remains in Vadstena, on the shores of Lake Vättern. Here, we develop and manufacture nearly all our products from scratch, rigorously testing them before, during, and after production to ensure they meet the highest standards.Sustainability - for people, the environment, and business - is at the heart of everything we do, driven by the dedicated people who work here. Our products are created by people, for people, with a deep commitment to both quality and the environment. Nothing is left to chance.

Sterisol has developed from an early system innovation into a Swedish knowledge company within skin care and hygiene for workplaces. Through the years, the same driving force has remained: to create products and solutions that work in everyday life, are gentle on the skin and take resources and the environment into account.

We may have one of Sweden’s most beautiful views from our factory windows. Perhaps it is both the view and the proud Sterisol spirit that make many employees stay for a long time and new people want to join us.
But our closeness to the water also brings responsibility and commitment in our surroundings. That is why we are members of the Lake Vättern Society for Water Conservation, so that we can help ensure good water quality and ecosystems in our local area.
